VOTE YES FOR THE D86 REFERENDUM ON APRIL 2
The April 2 D86 referendum represented a pivotal moment for our community.
This referendum included critical life/safety and infrastructure requirements for both Hinsdale Central and Hinsdale South. It also encompassed investments intended to modernize crucial learning areas - such as STEM labs.
The referendum has passed and we can now invest in our schools to ensure that our communities remain a destination for families who are seeking the best high school experience for their children.
D86 Vote Yes is the campaign that was dedicated to getting the April referendum passed. Thank you to the hundreds of volunteers who helped make this happen. Whether you invested 1 hour in the campaign or 1,000 hours, every effort made the difference.

How Our Referendum Stacks Up to Neighboring Schools
D86 isn't unique when it comes to asking the community for support to move forward. Many school districts throughout Illinois have successfully passed referenda - many bigger than ours - to make critical improvements to their schools.
On 12/18, the Board of Education voted to cut athletics and activities and they also increased class sizes to create funding needed for critical life/safety and infrastructures projects.
